About Invert PDF Colors
A tool that makes a dark version of a PDF. Dark mode turns black text white and white pages dark while keeping colored text, links and highlights in their own hue; invert makes a true negative of every page. Pick a black, dark gray, night blue or warm background, keep photos in their original colors or convert them too, and compare the original and the result on any page before you download. The text is not rasterized, so the dark PDF stays small, sharp at any zoom and fully searchable.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between dark mode and invert?+
Invert makes a negative: white becomes black and every color flips, so red turns cyan. Dark mode only flips brightness, so black text turns white while a red heading stays red and blue links stay blue.
Will the text still be selectable?+
Yes. The original text and drawings stay in the file and the colors are changed on top, so you can still select, copy and search the text. Nothing is converted to an image.
What happens to photos?+
By default photos keep their original colors, so pictures and charts made of images still look right. Scanned pages and full-page images are always converted, since that is usually the point. Untick the option to convert every image.
Can I invert a scanned PDF?+
Yes. A scanned page is one big image and it is converted like the rest, so a white page with black text becomes a dark page with light text.
Are my files uploaded?+
No. The PDF is converted in your browser, so it never leaves your device.
