About PDF to CSV

A PDF to CSV converter for statements, reports, price lists and invoices. It uses the same table engine as PDF to Excel: ruled tables and aligned columns become rows and columns, merged cells and multi-line cells are handled, and the result is a UTF-8 CSV that opens cleanly everywhere.

Frequently asked questions

Which tables are found?+

Ruled tables and text laid out in aligned columns. Each table is rebuilt row by row and column by column from where its text sits on the page.

What happens with several tables?+

They go one after the other in the same CSV, separated by an empty row. For one sheet per table, use PDF to Excel.

Will accents open correctly in Excel?+

Yes. The CSV is UTF-8 with a byte order mark, so Excel shows accents and other alphabets correctly.

Can I convert a scanned PDF?+

A scan has no text to read. Run OCR PDF first, then convert it to CSV.
