About Passport Photo Maker
A passport and visa photo maker built on each country's published rules. It finds your face, the top of your head and your eyes, crops the photo to the official size with the head in the required range, replaces the background and saves a file ready to upload, plus a print sheet with several copies at their exact printed size. The checker tests a photo you already have against the rules of the document you pick.

Frequently asked questions
What size is a passport photo?+
It depends on the country. The U.S. uses 2 × 2 inches (51 × 51 mm); the UK, Schengen countries, India and many others use 35 × 45 mm; Canada uses 50 × 70 mm; China uses 33 × 48 mm. Pick your document above and the maker uses its official size, head height and background.
Can I print the photo at home or in a shop?+
Yes. Download the print sheet: several copies at their exact size on a 10 × 15 cm (4 × 6 in) photo, with cut lines. Print it at actual size (100%) on photo paper, at home or at any photo shop kiosk, and cut along the lines.
Is the background made white automatically?+
Yes. The background is replaced with the color the rules ask for, usually plain white, and your face is never retouched. If your wall is already white you can switch it off.
Can I wear glasses?+
Most countries no longer accept glasses in passport and visa photos, including the U.S., the UK, Canada and India. The maker warns you when glasses are found and the document does not allow them.
Is my photo uploaded?+
No. Face detection, background removal and the files are made in your browser, so your photo never leaves your device.
